Although I'm happy to hear that the official Somalian government and their Ethiopian supporters have the Islamists on the run, I'm not going to do a Snoopy Dance just yet. Radical Islamist leaders have invested too much money (and reputation) in the Islamic Courts Union in order to see Somalia become a secure base of Islamist operations in the region. They aren't going to give up on their investment just yet. Far from it being over, I fear the battle for Mogadishu has only just started.
