Investigative Project reports on a much-needed Congressional letter directing questions to Georgetown University and their somewhat suspect acceptance of tens of millions of dollars to basically function as an institution of Saudi dawah in the United States. The questions aren't related to Georgetown's religious affiliation, but to its de facto role as the training institution for future diplomats.
If it was up to me, I would have no institution that claims to be Catholic (even those that are "in the Jesuit tradition") act as a ballast and support for Islamic dawah. But perhaps there is some deeper wisdom behind Georgetown's decision to willingly support Muslim conversion efforts. Perhaps not. $20 million dollars is a lot of money.
